Recognized for her ug dedication to education and community service, Maโ€™am Jojina Velarde-Sales was honored on October 20, 2025, as one of the โ€œIdol ko, Titser ko 2025โ€ awardees in the Bicol Region during the ceremony held at RMN-DWNX Naga City.

A proud alumna of Naga View Adventist College (NVAC), Batch 2000, Maโ€™am Sales earned her Bachelorโ€™s Degree in English and has since dedicated nearly three decades to shaping young minds at Panicuason Elementary School, where she serves as Teacher III.

Her nineteen years of faithful service under the Department of Education, combined with her earlier volunteer teaching during her college years in the same barangay, exemplify her lifelong passion for education.

The award honors not only her years of devoted service but also her steadfast commitment to nurturing learners with patience, faith, and love for learning.

โ€œTruly, the Lord blesses those who serve with humility and a sincere heart,โ€ Maโ€™am Sales shared, expressing gratitude for the recognition that reflects her lifelong mission as an educator.

She was nominated by her School Principal and Public District Supervisor on September 23, in celebration of World Teachersโ€™ Day.
